SINGAPORE — The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has issued a recall for a range of food products from Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing due to the potential presence of an undeclared milk allergen in them.
In its media statement on Tuesday (Feb 11), SFA said that the products recalled include a range of Spring Home TYJ Spring Roll Pastry products, Spring Home Samosa Pastry, and Spring Home Chicken Spring Roll.
The affected products all have Feb 8, 2023 as the best-before date.
The Singapore manufacturer had notified SFA that it had received feedback from a customer in the United Kingdom — which imports its products — on the presence of a milk allergen in its products that was not declared on the labels.
It is now testing its products to confirm the presence of the allergen.
As a precautionary measure and because the products are available for sale here, SFA has directed Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing to recall the products.
“The recall is ongoing,” the agency said.
Members of the public who have bought the affected products and who are allergic to milk should not consume them.
Consumers may contact the manufacturer at 6880 9888 to make inquiries and to arrange an exchange or refund of products, SFA said.
