Minimal change in COE premiums in latest bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for cars fell minimally across the board in the latest bidding exercising that ended today (June 4).

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for cars fell minimally across the board in the latest bidding exercising that ended today (June 4).

Motorcycle premiums, on the other hand, climbed to S$6,509 — a marginal increase of 0.12 per cent.

Meanwhile, small cars in Category A (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) saw premiums falling 0.89 per cent to close at S$66,000.

For big cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums fell to S$75,000 — merely S$2 lower than before.

Commercial vehicle premiums closed at S$50,900 — down by 2.12 per cent.

COE prices for the Open Category — which can be used for any category but are typically used for big cars — fell 2.82 per cent to S$75,801.
