Sungei Kadut murder: 22-year-old man charged
SINGAPORE — The 22-year-old man suspected of murdering another man at Sungei Kadut on Monday (March 11) was charged in hospital on Wednesday.

SINGAPORE — The 22-year-old man suspected of murdering another man at Sungei Kadut on Monday (March 11) was charged in hospital on Wednesday.
Yee Jing Man, a Malaysian, faces one count of murder, an offence punishable with the death penalty.
Court documents showed that the alleged murder took place some time between 12.55pm and 1.03pm on Monday, on the second floor of a building located at 62 Sungei Kadut Loop.
The victim is one Lin Xinjie, court documents showed.
Yee’s case will be heard again on March 20.
The police had said in a statement on Monday that they received a call for assistance at 12.57pm that day.
“Upon arrival, the police found a 30-year-old man lying motionless inside the building and he was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene,” the statement said.
Another 29-year-old man was found with injuries. He was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
The police said that its preliminary investigations showed that Yee knew his two victims.
