TraceTogether vaccination status restored after temporary glitch: GovTech
SINGAPORE — The TraceTogether mobile application was hit by a temporary technical glitch on Monday (Nov 8) evening, such that it was unable to show the vaccination status of the person using it.

SINGAPORE — The TraceTogether mobile application was hit by a temporary technical glitch on Monday (Nov 8) evening, such that it was unable to show the vaccination status of the person using it.
At 8.25pm, the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) alerted the public that this function was “currently unavailable”.
It said then that premises conducting pre-entry SafeEntry checks were advised to admit users even if they were unable to verify a person's vaccination status via the TraceTogether app.
Then, in a Facebook post at 9.24pm, GovTech said that the verification of vaccination status was again working properly and that users could resume using the app for SafeEntry check-in at malls, restaurants and other venues.
In its Facebook post, GovTech thanked users for their patience and apologised for the inconvenience.
Since Oct 13, people who have not been fully vaccinated have not been allowed entry into malls, large standalone stores, attractions, hawker centres and coffee shops — to protect them from Covid-19 and reduce the strain on the healthcare system here.
