NEW MENU AT DB BISTRO & OYSTER BAR. The new menu introduces a more casual and fun dining style with sensational seafood platters designed for sharing. The Signature New England Seafood Boils, for example, is available in three servings — petit, grand and royal — and features fresh lobster, mussels and clams, steamed in a fragrant broth and served with sweet corn and fingerling potatoes. Also, savour seasonal oysters shucked-to-order, or heartier selections such as jumbo lump crabcakes (made with blue crabs), and the fried oyster sliders. There’s even a revamped cocktail menu that places emphasis on lighter, refreshing cocktails. Call 6688 8525.

SET MEALS AT COCOICHIBANYA. If you like your curry rice, Japanese Curry House CoCoICHIBANYA has launched two new dishes to complement its already extensive menu. Choose from the CoCo Fried Rice (S$10.90) and CoCo Omu Fried Rice (S$13.90), and complete the meal with a mini salad and a drink choice of Iced Green Tea or Iced Lemon Tea. Customers can also choose to add toppings such as pork cutlet (S$4), boiled beef (S$4), chicken cutlet (S$4), vegetables in curry sauce (S$3) or bacon (S$2). Available at all five outlets. Visit https://www.cocoichibanya.com.sg/.

EXPLORER KIDS MENU AT SWENSEN’S. For S$9.90, children can tuck into their favourite main dish and enjoy their preferred beverage (including juice and iced Milo), all packaged in a 3D hot-air balloon holder intended for kids to bring home after their meal. Two main dish choices have also been revamped to ensure children get their nutrients: The minced beef patty in Beef ‘N’ Rice is now mixed with chopped mushrooms, while the bolognaise sauce in Spaghetti Twirlies is combined with vegetables. At all Swensen’s restaurants.

NEW BRUNCH MENU AT THE PELICAN SEAFOOD BAR & GRILL. The all-new ala carte selection is focused on classic East Coast American breakfast favourites, and paired with a free flow of Prosecco, optional at an additional S$35++. Expect bagels, oyster platters and frittatas, as well as a twist to classic brunch dishes from the Breakfast of Champs section. Seafood lovers can also delight in the sharing platters, such as the Seafood Bouillabaisse (S$68), made with tiger prawns, green mussels, flower clams and barramundi fillets cooked in a rich lobster broth. The Berry & Creme French Toast (S$14), and the Banana Bread (S$14) should round the meal off nicely. Available every Saturday, 11am to 3pm. Call 6438 0400.

NEW SUNDAY BRUNCH AT AURA. As if you needed another reason to head to this rooftop restaurant at the National Gallery Singapore. Its all new Sunday Champagne Brunch at its Sky Lounge combines hearty Italian classics, unlimited pours of Perrier Jouet champagne and some spectacular views of the Marina Bay. The spread includes 40 different antipasti, mains and desserts, and live stations featuring roast meats and hot Italian classics, such as trofie with truffle and mascarpone, and caserecce with crab and smoked caviar.
