Fans hoping to catch Tampines Rovers’ AFC Cup Group E clash against Selangor FA on May 10 can purchase their tickets to the match from noon today.

The Stags will be the first S.League club to play at the National Stadium since it was reopened in 2014. Tickets for home fans, which can be bought via Sports Hub Tix, are priced from S$4.

Away fans will have to contact Selangor FA to purchase their tickets.

Originally scheduled to be held at the 5,500-seat Jalan Besar Stadium, Tampines were given the green light to stage the match at the 55,000-capacity National Stadium after receiving approval from the AFC.

“We want to do this for Singapore football and … I hope fans can come to support us representing the country against Malaysia’s most successful club in a unique club Causeway challenge,” said Tampines chairman Krishna Ramachandra.

Singapore Sports Hub CEO Manu Sawhney added: “This match will bring added colour and vibrancy to our buzzing sporting calendar, which has had a great start this year and which we are committed to growing.

“We are looking forward to greeting Singaporean fans and our patrons from across the Causeway to witness history in the making, and having the Kallang Roar once more at the National Stadium.” NOAH TAN
