SINGAPORE — Sprinter Shanti Pereira has won her first medal at the South-east Asian Games.

The 18-year-old finished third in the women's 100m in 11.88sec, with the Philippines' Kayla Anise Richardson and Tassaporn Wannakit of Thailand claiming gold and silver respectively in a 11.76sec photo finish.
