SEA Games: Young Jodie wins sailing gold
SINGAPORE — Fourteen-year-old Jodie Lai has clinched the gold medal for Singapore in the female (under-16) optimist class at the 28th South-east Asian (SEA) Games sailing competition.

SINGAPORE — Fourteen-year-old Jodie Lai has clinched the gold medal for Singapore in the female (under-16) optimist class at the 28th South-east Asian (SEA) Games sailing competition.
Jodie, Singapore’s youngest Asian Games gold medallist when she won the women’s optimist class last year in Incheon, took the SEA Games gold today (June 13) with 16 points over 10 races. Thailand’s Kamonchanok Klahan took silver with 18 points while Malaysia’s Mohd Nazri Nor Nabila Natasha came third (20).
Over in the male optimist (U-16) class, Singapore’s Daniel Ian Toh bagged the bronze medal with 20 points over 10 races. Malaysia’s Muhammad Fauzi Kaman Shah was victorious (15), while Thailand’s Suthon Yampinid took the silver (19).
