Let pregnant women make their own moral choices

Unfortunately, the example of North Dakota is a bad one. Six weeks is hardly enough time for a woman to recognise her pregnancy, which many women discover around the third month.
American states that try actively to ban abortion also have majorities of Republican legislators with overt religious motives.
Singapore has long been a secular state. Regardless of religion, people should make their own moral choices.
It is time to rely less on government and let people self-regulate their behaviour.
