Like many Singaporeans, architecture veteran Tan Cheng Siong, 81, is watching the latest en bloc craze closely — but for a different reason. Two of the developments which he had designed, Pandan Valley and Pearl Bank, could be reduced to rubble if the ongoing collective sale bids succeed.
Speaking to TODAY, Mr Tan lamented how architecture has become a casualty of the en bloc fever, which has hit Singapore again after the previous wave a decade ago.
