Ground-Up Initiative (GUI) has organised the first ever public paddy-planting program for children and their parents. The non profit organisation has created two of their own paddy fields on a 200 square metre plot of land located along Lorong Chencharu in Yishun. Through this initiative, GUI aims to connect people back to nature so as to cultivate further appreciation for the environment. The activity is also targeted at strengthening family bonds.
