Christmas comes early for some lucky children. Travelling all the way from Lapland, Finland, Santa Claus is at Gardens by the Bay to be part of its ‘Poinsetta Wishes’ Christmas programme and community outreach efforts. In December more than 300 children aged 7 to 12 from Hope Centre (Singapore) , Life Community Services Society (Yishun and Pasir Ris), Infant Jesus Homes & Children’s Centres, Rainbow Centre, Singapore - Yishun Park School, Children’s Aid Society, and En Community Services Society - TriLOVE Student Care Centre, will get to meet Santa. Members of the public who visit the Flower Dome can also meet the jolly old fellow on selected dates in December as part of the Gardens’ Christmas programmes. The Gardens is also holding a Christmas floral display from 10 November to 8 January.
